In creating Mazda’s most capable outdoor vehicle, the first-ever CX-50, Mazda sought to craft something that would help inspire people to spend more time in nature. Experiences in the outdoors have a unique ability to fuel our curiosity and invigorate us as humans.
For a few days every spring Carbondale, Colorado hosts the 5Point Adventure Film Festival—the only film festival in the United States to exclusively share stories from filmmakers inspired by nature.
Each of the festival’s entries center on a deep sense of wonder for nature captured within the beauty of film — and it is this expression of creativity inspired by nature that connects the brands.

The 5Point Adventure Film Festival believes “that communities are made better when their people pursue adventure and intentionally live their own best story” and their mission is “to ignite personal and communal adventure of all kinds through the experience of sharing meaningful stories.”
