Mazda Heroes: Honoring the Human Spirit

Mazda is Awarding Community Heroes with Special Edition Vehicles

Throughout the course of the pandemic, people have stepped up to care for others and solve problems big and small in their communities. From families learning to make masks on behalf of vulnerable neighbors, to teachers arranging socially distanced visits to lift their students’ spirits, the best of human nature has been put on display through heartfelt acts of generosity.

Now, Mazda is turning a spotlight on individuals across the country who have selflessly dedicated themselves to their communities throughout these difficult times.

Mazda Heroes: Honoring The Human Spirit

Through Mazda Heroes, Mazda North American Operations will select 50 deserving people from across the United States and provide each local hero with a special part of its history, a Mazda MX-5 Miata 100th Anniversary Special Edition.

“In April, Mazda launched the Essential Car Care Program to give back to healthcare workers across the U.S.,” MNAO President Jeff Guyton said. “Throughout this initiative we heard how grateful our dealers and employees were to be in service to those selflessly giving back every day. This inspired us to develop the Mazda Heroes program, which will honor individuals supporting communities and share their stories in a moment when people desire positive news.”

Honor Your Local Hero

Mazda Heroes embody the brand’s values of supporting local communities, selfless acts, and creative approaches. All of these heroes looked at a need within their community and rallied to find and deliver a solution.

If you or someone you know is working to uplift your community, please submit your story now through October 25th at www.MazdaUSA.com/mazda-heroes for a chance to be honored as a Mazda Hero. Honorees will be announced beginning December 2nd.
